SH-F100
Commentary

FM wing antenna with built-in electronic tuning circuit.

The SH-F100 consists of a resonant circuit consisting of an antenna element with a zigzag pattern, two silicon varactors and coils. It is 43 cm in size and has a gain of 0 dB at any frequency point. In addition, the standing wave ratio (VSWR), which shows how much the impedance of the antenna deviates from the rated value, is close to 1 over the entire band, and the mismatch is minimized.
The resonance circuit is tuned by changing the capacitance of the silicon varactor inside the SH-F100. The control signal for this capacitance change is automatically supplied from the antenna terminal of the connected tuner at the same time as the tuning is done.

Single frequency tuning with an electronic tuning circuit realizes a selectivity of 10 db at 3 mhz detuning, enabling FM reception with less IM interference.

In addition to the selectivity within the FM band, the 100 to 500 MHz out-of-band suppression capability is also increased, so the design is robust against urban noise.

Since the antenna base is made of stable diecast and equipped with a free cloud base, the direction of the antenna element can be changed freely.
