Commentary

Digital surround processor for Dolby Digital (AC-3).

It can decode Dolby Digital (AC-3) signals, the audio format used in DVDs, into 5.1 channel analog signals. It can also automatically detect and output recording modes such as discrete 5.1 ch, Dolby Pro Logic, 2 ch stereo and monaural.

Equipped with a two stage Dolby Digital Decoder, it uses a 24-bit x24-bit DSP and a 24-bit x16-bit DSP to reproduce the sound field space of Dolby Digital.
In addition, Dolby Prologic decoding can be performed for linear PCM, and 5.1 ch can be downmixed into 2 ch stereo signal.

All 6-ch output D/A converters are equipped with 20-bit D/A converters.

It uses an attenuator type master volume with variable width from 0 dB to -82dB, and achieves high precision attenuation at all levels.

Equipped with a CINEMA re-equalizer, LucasFilm's THX technology can be used to equalize the original sound of a film so that it can be reproduced most naturally in the home.

Equipped with speaker setting function and dynamic range compression function.
With these functions, you can adjust the size and number of speakers, the front can be balanced, the remaining four channels can be adjusted independently, and the center and surround can be set with different delay times to create the best environment for your room.

Wireless remote control is included.
