Commentary
A crossover network with continuously variable crossover frequency and shoulder characteristics.
By using Sh-9015C, 3-way or 2-way multi-amplifier system can be constructed.
The high-cut frequency of the low range and the low-cut frequency of the middle range are in the range of 100 Hz to 1 kHz, and the high-cut frequency of the middle range and the low-cut frequency of the high range are in the range of 1 kHz to 10 kHz. Each can be independently and continuously variable.
The filter's shoulder response (Q) can also be varied continuously from 0.3 to 2.0. This allows you to subtly correct the frequency response near the crossover frequency of the speaker unit and to obtain natural sound connections.
The cutoff characteristics of the filter can be switched to three levels : -6dB/oct., -12dB/oct., and -18dB/oct.
In addition, the middle range has a flat position so that a two way multi-channel system can be configured, and the level of each channel can be adjusted from + 6 dB to ∞ while checking the attenuation.
The phase of the middle-band and high-band output signal can be switched.
Multiple, full-band, or both outputs can be obtained by switching the switches.
It comes with a front cover to prevent the setting from being changed carelessly after adjustment.
