Commentary
Space Dimension Controller that integrates the dimension controller and microphone mixing function.
The Dimension control consists of two parts : the Ambience, which controls the sound spread, and the Electronic Echo, which adds reverberation.
The Ambience Controller is a sound field reproduction system that expands the stereo sound field by Technics's original sound field control technology and electronically creates a sense of the direction and distance of sound forward and backward, left and right. It can obtain a sound field of up to 240 ° (from 30 ° behind the left of the listener to 30 ° behind the front of the listener). An electronic echo circuit using a BBD delay element adds reverberation to the signal, enabling you to enjoy music with the sound created by the Hall effect.
Equipped with a dimension on/off switch, the effect can be switched on or off.
It is equipped with a peak meter combined with display, and the spread of sound is indicated by flashing pattern.
The output signal level is indicated by the 2-color LED peak level meter.
The microphone mixing circuit allows mixing play with each source.
In addition, you can enjoy a natural echo effect with BBD echo, and the echo amount can be adjusted freely with the echo level knob.
When the echo position switch is set to mic, only the microphone is echoed ; when it is set to source, both the sound and microphone are echoed.
It is equipped with an effect position switch. By setting the switch to source, the signal from the amplifier can be recorded directly on the deck.
Also, by switching the switch to rec out, you can record any sound you want, such as dimensioning effects or mixing signals.
