SH-8020
Commentary

Stereo frequency equalizer for sound creation and sound field correction.

The SH-8020 divides the wide band beyond the range of audibility into 12 bands, and each level can be changed within ± 12 db.
When fine level control is desired, the total variation can be controlled to ± 3 dB by operating the variable range switch.

Equipped with an equalizer position changeover switch, the output system of the speaker and deck can be selected with just a switch.

It is equipped with a characteristic switch that instantly produces inverse characteristics of the set frequency characteristics. In addition, pre-emphasis recorded sources can be played back to de-emphasis by simply switching the switch.

Each level control knob has a built-in LED for frequency control even in dark areas.
Indicators are also provided for related operating switches to make it easier to determine operating conditions.

Equipped with an equalizer on/off switch to easily check the effect of the equalizer.

Low distortion is achieved by a band-pass filter using a semiconductor inductor composed of a capacitor, resistor and semiconductor circuit without using any coil.

A 3-terminal regulator is used for power supply.

In order to suppress shock noise when the power is turned on/off, a muting circuit by relay is built in.
