Commentary
A semiconductor cartridge developed for CD-4 system 4 ch record playback.
The CD-4 is an abbreviation of Compatible Discrete 4 channel. It is a discrete 4 channel system that is compatible with 2 channels. Two new signals are recorded using the ultra-high frequency band of 20 kHz to 45 kHz.
The special block diamond needle tip allows playback of CD-4 records and conventional stereo records.
A newly developed lightweight titanium pipe cantilever is used for the cantilever.
By processing titanium, which had been difficult to process, using a special Technics method, we succeeded in rolling a pipe with a thickness of 20 microns and a diameter of 0.35 mm. The weight of this product is approximately 1/2 that of conventional cantilevers.
Comes with head shell.
