An arm base to which an arm unit can be mounted.

Even though it is separated from the arm part, it adopts a high-sensitivity gimbal suspension bearing structure similar to the ordinary Technics tone arm. It uses a 4-point support system with a high-precision pivot and ball bearing, and as a result of the intersecting axes of both horizontal and vertical rotating shafts at one point, the initial motion sensitivity of 7 mg is achieved for both horizontal and vertical.

Equipped with 12 helicoid arm height adjustment mechanism, high precision arm height adjustment is possible.

The bearing section is supported by precision zinc die-cast base to suppress external vibration.

Vibration analysis using advanced measuring methods such as laser holography is performed on the entire arm base and arm replacement part, and vibration free concept is also thoroughly applied to the details.

The output cord attached to the arm base has a low DC resistance of 39.5m Ω / m and low capacity (41.5pF/m), so it has excellent transmission characteristics.
