A universal tone arm that adopts the world's first Boron Titanium Pipe arm and boron aluminum head shell.
The arm pipe uses the world's first Boron Titanium Pipe, in which a boron layer is formed on the surface of a lightweight metallic titer with high mechanical strength and high elastic modulus by a special forming method, and a boron diffusion layer is provided inside. This design increases the mechanical strength and suppresses harmful partial resonance such as bending and torsion with an emphasis on sound quality.
In addition, the head shell uses boron aluminum, which is a composite refinement of boron fiber and aluminum, to achieve high rigidity and weight reduction.
The tone arm uses a high-sensitivity gimbal suspension bearing structure.
Both horizontal and vertical bearings A total of 20 ruby balls with an extremely low friction coefficient of about 1/3 of that of the wheel are used for the bearings, and the minimum initial motion sensitivity of 5 mg is realized.
A unique variable dynamic damping system is adopted.
In this system, the movable weight part in the balance weight is supported by a spring with high strength and damping effect, and the mass of the movable weight is divided by its compliance. In addition, the spring support part is covered with a damping cylinder, and silicon oil is contained inside the cylinder to increase the damping effect of the spring support part by viscous resistance. This greatly improves the low-frequency resonance peak (sharpness Q).
In addition, in consideration of the fact that the low resonance frequency changes depending on the compliance and weight of the cartridge used, we have incorporated a magnetic damping adjustment function in order to provide more effective braking. This is equipped with two magnets in the movable weight part, and by changing the distance between these two magnets, the resonance frequency of the movable weight part changes. This reduces the low resonance peak (sharpness Q), flattens the frequency characteristics, reduces the low frequency mechanical impedance, reduces intermodulation distortion and ultra-low frequency noise caused by the warping of records, and enhances cartridge performance and tracing performance.
In addition to enabling high-fidelity and high-signal-to-noise ratio reproduction, we have also improved the insulation performance against external vibrations.
It is equipped with an arm height adjustment function by zinc die-cast precision 12-row helicoid structure, and the arm height can be adjusted within 20 mm.
