SU-C3000Ver.3.0
Commentary

An improved control amplifier based on SU-C3000.

A low-noise amplifier VGCA (Variable Gain Control Amplifier) is used to support new generation digital formats such as DVD-Audio.
In this circuit, the gain of the amplifier itself is changed instead of the conventional configuration in which the signal is reduced by the input volume and then amplified. This reduces noise and dynamic range degradation even when the volume is reduced.
In addition, residual noise is further reduced by combining with the battery drive power source adopted in SU-C7000Ver. 4.0.

The power supply section employs a lead-acid battery driven power supply system. By completely separating the AC power supply and signal circuit, noise loops caused by the connection code and AC power supply and switching noise of the power supply circuit are eliminated.
The battery can be fully charged for approximately four hours, and automatically switches to AC power when the battery is low and starts charging.

The volume uses a resistor rotation type volume.
This volume uses a unique method in which a brush integrated with the terminal is fixed and a resistor is rotated. This reduces the number of dissimilar metal joints that cause deterioration of sound quality and improves sound quality.
In addition, fine particle type carbon is used for the resistor to reduce strain.

We have adopted TAKEII Ver. 3.0 electrolytic capacitors.
This capacitor is an upgraded version of an electrolytic capacitor using a mixed bamboo separator. The equivalent resistance has been reduced by optimizing the mixing ratio of bamboo fibers in the separator, using thick aluminum foil, and using a special etching method.

The power transformer uses an R-core transformer with less magnetic flux leakage to prevent deterioration of sound quality.

The chassis structure adopts THCB (Technics Hybrid Construction Base), and excellent vibration damping characteristics are obtained by using multi-layer structure of materials with different damping characteristics.

Equipped with two pre-out terminals for bi-amping.

Uses a gold-plated glass epoxy printed circuit board.

3P-2P type detachable power cord is used.

Equipped with XLR canon terminals for balanced input / output.

OCC wire is used for internal wiring.

Equipped with side woods with real wood paint finish.
