Commentary
The power MOS-FET developed by Technics is adopted, and MOS class AA is realized.
In MOS Class AA, MOS-FET is used in a class A operation voltage control amplifier of the class AA output stage. On the other hand, while a bipolar transistor current amplifier superior in high-output operation is dedicated to supplying current, MOS-FET exhibits its excellent linearity in an ideal operation state of 0 current output.
Conventionally, single type amplifiers have used either toroidal or EI transformer. The rectangular cross section core used in both types prevents uniform coil winding, which creates partial concentration of magnetic flux, which increases efficiency and causes leakage of magnetic flux.
To solve this problem, Technics has adopted a newly developed R-core transformer, which tightly wraps the coil around a circular core and creates a uniform magnetic flux, thereby minimizing leakage of magnetic flux.
Taking full advantage of the anti-vibration structure developed in analog players, we have adopted a multi-layer T. H. C. B. with excellent vibration damping characteristics based on a chassis base. The multi-layer structure of steel chassis and hard rubber reduces unnecessary vibration and provides better sound quality.
Uses a high-quality X-Pro power capacitor.
High reliability is ensured by the input / output switching directly connected to the terminal by gold-plated contact relay.
Speaker terminals for A and B2 systems. Simultaneous drive (8 Ω + 8 Ω) is also possible.
Equipped as standard with a system remote control that enables basic operation of Technics CD player, tuner and cassette deck in one. Volume Up down is a motor drive.
