Commentary
As a sister unit of the SE-A808, this is a stereo power amplifier with a simple configuration consisting of two ICs and one transistor.
The input-stage ICs are current mirror load differential-amplifiers that can select low-distortion operating current, and the output-stage power ICs are two stage Darlington connection semi- complimentary service configuration.
A protective circuit is employed that protects the output stage IC from destruction by electronically limiting large current by activating a current limiter even if the speaker terminal is short-circuited.
Equipped with two types of speaker terminals.
