Commentary

Stereo power amplifier using MOS class AA circuit.

Equipped with MOS class AA circuit using power MOS FET.
In a class AA circuit, voltage amplification and current supply are performed by separate amplifiers. Therefore, the voltage-controlled amplifier performs A-class operation under no-load conditions to improve sound quality. Moreover, stable operation is obtained without being affected by impedance fluctuation and back electromotive force of the speaker.
The SE-A2000 uses a class AA-based bipolar transistor with excellent drive capability and a MOS FET with excellent input / output linearity and ability to control output power with a small input current to enhance its perfection.

An R-core transformer is used for the power transformer to reduce leakage flux and obtain excellent regulation.

The signal amplifier is equipped with virtual battery operation to suppress power supply noise.
In this circuit, a MOS FET is incorporated into the power supply circuit, and a reference potential generation circuit is used for capacitor charging. This circuit is shut off when music is played, preventing power supply noise from entering the audio signal, and realizing operating performance equivalent to that of battery operation.

The chassis structure is a strong 3-box structure.
In addition, the internal layout has a twin monaural structure with independent left and right channels, greatly reducing noise and crosstalk between the two channels.

A newly developed non-inductive resistor is used for the internal circuit.
This resistor improves the high-frequency response by increasing the alumina content of the base insulator to prevent the Joule heat generated by itself from interfering with faithful signal reproduction.

A highly reliable gold-clad contact relay is used for speaker switching.
