KENWOOD L-03TPRO

Commentary
A stereo FM monitoring receiver developed based on L-03T to monitor stereo FM broadcasting radio waves at FM stations.
The L-03TPRO was used as an air monitor at FM Tokyo and many other broadcasting stations.
It seems that it was not sold to the general public.
The L-03TPRO was developed because of the need for a sound quality monitor at the time when the number of live programs increased, PCM PCM equipment was introduced, and PCM lines were enriched.
Equipped with a Signal Meter, it can measure linearly from 20 db weak electric field to 80 db strong electric field.
Equipped with a Modulation Meter, it can monitor the FM modulation level of the broadcasting station.
Measurement is possible up to 150% in excess of 100%.
Equipped with a Pilot Signal Level Meter, it can monitor whether the modulation level of the 19 kHz pilot signal is at a constant level of 9% to 10%.
Can measure from 4% to 20%.
Equipped with an unmodulated alarm circuit.
The operation of this circuit is such that the input signal is modulated at a frequency of 100 to 10 kHz and modulated for 1 minute while maintaining the degree of modulation at 5%. Assuming that this is not modulated, the operation time of the alarm circuit is 30 seconds ± 2 seconds.
The MAX and MIN of the alarm circuit operation time can be set to MAX44 seconds and MIN22 seconds by adjusting the volume.
A pilot signal with a modulation level of 4% switches between stereo and monaural modes.
