Commentary

An FM stereo tuner developed in response to the evolution of FM, such as DA for the transmission source and PCM for the broadcast line.

The IF section is equipped with a non-spectrum IF system.
This circuit removes the FM spectrum from the signal input to the IF, passes it through an IF filter to remove the interfering signal, and returns it to the original FM signal for detection, thereby minimizing distortion while maintaining excellent interference rejection capability.

Equipped with a direct conversion system.
When the RF selector is set to the Direct position, the input signal is directly input to the mixer section without passing through the RF amplifier section. This reduces interference such as RF intermodulation and intermodulation to extract high-quality sound even when there is a sufficient input or when there is a large power station close to it.
In addition, the distance position is designed with high sensitivity to catch a station with a small input or a long-distance station.

Equipped with a sample-and-hold MPX, it separates left and right audio signals while maintaining the high signal-to-noise ratio and low distortion rate secured by a non-spectrum IF system.
In this circuit, the separation characteristics are greatly improved, and at the same time, only the peak is sampled and held, so that the amplitude change of the 38 kHz component when modulation is applied is small, and dynamic carrier leakage due to the change of the modulation level of the voice hardly occurs.

A Σ drive system is used for the output, and even if a long connection cable with high impedance is used, only the signal voltage without distortion can be transmitted to the preamplifier.

It is equipped with a clean reception filter formed by an operational amplifier active filter to eliminate magnetic saturation distortion, thereby improving the selectivity of stereo reception.

Equipped with a variable muting circuit.
If the level of this circuit is set to 5, only a high output station with a good S / N ratio can catch. If the level of this circuit is set to 1, a weak far-distance station can be selected.

One point grounding design is adopted.

It is equipped with an active low-pass filter by an operational amplifier to eliminate magnetic saturation distortion.

It uses wide-band frequency characteristic control that is greatly extended to the ultra-low band when receiving.

Equipped with auto-blend circuit that is effective for long-distance reception.

A three independent power supply configuration eliminates power source interference.

Magnetic distortion is eliminated by adopting copper plated chassis.

Equipped with Rec calibration function.

Equipped with a deviation meter.
