Commentary

FM/AM tuner equipped with new pulse count system.

It is equipped with a new pulse count system composed of two newly developed ICs from the IF part to detection.
As a result, the detection efficiency and high-speed response are improved compared with conventional systems, and an FM demodulation system that can fully display the characteristics of pulse counting has been realized. In addition, since there is no need to use a distortion adjustment circuit that reduces distortion unlike conventional detection systems, a stable audio signal is obtained.

Equipped with RF2-stage switching.
In the direct position, the input from the antenna is directly input to the mixer without RF amplification, resulting in excellent 2-signal performance, high SN ratio and wide dynamic range.
In the normal position, it is equipped with MOS-FET and double tune mixer for high sensitivity design.

It uses a multi-state memory that can preset not only the frequency of the desired receiving station but also the receiving state according to radio wave conditions.
In this memory, three conditions (RF selector, IF band and mode (muting)) can be stored in each station. In AM, IF band and muting can be stored in memory.
