The FM/AM tuner is the top-of-the-line model that the D. S. D. C. method.

The MPX section is composed of a combination of two circuit systems, PLL circuit and D. S. D. C. system.
In the D. S. D. C. method, the main switching signal and the auxiliary switching circuit output are symmetrical and opposite in phase, and the leakage signal is canceled by adding the outputs of both switching circuits, and the phase correction circuit is installed so that the phases of the main signal and the leakage signal match.
By combining this with a PLL circuit that suppresses the phase shift between the switching signal and the pilot signal, thereby suppressing the deterioration of separation, we have achieved excellent characteristics.

A two meter system consisting of a tuning meter and a signal meter is used.
The signal meter can be used as a deviation meter or a multi-pass distortion detection meter. The signal meter is a field-intensity-proportional / linear meter.

A ± 2 power supply system is used for the preamp section, and a muting circuit with a read relay is built into the audio output circuit to eliminate the pop noise at power ON/OFF.
In addition, a low-output impedance design with independent buffer stages for Rec out and Output is adopted.

It has a built-in headphone amplifier that can adjust the volume on the rear panel.

The IF stage uses a ceramic filter with two ICs, two transistors, and eight elements.

A dual-gate MOS FET is used for the front-end RF-amplifier stage and mixer circuit, and an FET is used for the buffer of the local oscillation circuit to improve the AM suppression ratio, intermodulation characteristics, distortion and intermodulation characteristics under the influence of Dainyu.

The carrier leak filter uses a polarized 3-stage filter with excellent attenuation.
