FM/AM tuner equipped with new pulse count system.

In order to maximize the performance of the pulse count detector, we have developed and mounted an IC that integrates the IF part and double conversion circuit.
In addition to 6-stage differential amplification and and double-conversion circuits, the new ICs contain an oscillator for Rec / calibrator, a muting detection circuit that eliminates malfunctions by using a noise detection method, and a signal meter circuit in one chip. With the completion of a new pulse count system that consists of two ICs from the IF section to the detection section, more stable FM demodulation has been achieved.
Pulse count detection has a straight detection band, so it is not necessary to use a distortion adjustment circuit to reduce distortion like general S-shape detection, and high-quality audio signals can be obtained.

It is equipped with a clean reception filter to eliminate interference from neighboring stations that adversely affects sound quality in stereo.

It uses a two color signal meter that automatically reads the state of tuning and detuning, and the same LED changes to red and green.
In addition, when the knob is released by the touch servo mechanism, the servo lock is activated and stable reception with no tuning deviation is possible.

The RF section employs a single-double configuration of four series frequency number line varicon, and the first stage employs a dual-gate MOS FET to improve the selectivity characteristics and minimize the generation of interference waves such as intermodulation interference and intermodulation interference.

The AM tuner section uses a highly selective ladder-type ceramic filter.
