Commentary
Quartz PLL synthesizer tuner with Trio's FM and microcomputer technologies.
It is equipped with FM/AM random 8 station preset with one touch channel selection.
In addition, a station name display is adopted in which the name of the receiving station appears on the back light, so that preset station names can be understood immediately. Both AM and FM come with station cards of all over Japan.
It is equipped with the last channel memory, and even when the power is turned off, it remembers the station you were listening to before.
The adjustment mechanisms such as manual tuning and time adjustment for preset desired stations are stored in the revolver pocket inside the panel.
Manual tuning can be achieved by sweeping the frequency up to the desired frequency range, and finally by stepping to achieve accurate tuning. Step tuning can be done manually at intervals of 100 kHz FM and 9 kHz AM.
Equipped with a digital clock of hour and minute display, you can enjoy FM and AM broadcasting with the clock display.
If you select a station while the clock is displayed, the frequency of the desired station is automatically displayed for approximately five seconds.
The frequency and time are displayed in digital form. The microcomputer controls the receiving frequency and transmits the command to the digital display at the same time.
There is basically no frequency indication error, no tuning deviation, and no increase in distortion.
A pulse swallow type quartz PLL synthesizer is used.
It catches the station firmly with quartz accuracy and can obtain the desired frequency without having any mechanical moving part, so there is no secular change or drift due to temperature and humidity.
It uses multi-state memory which can preset mono/stereo reception mode and muting on/off.
The front end uses a MOS FET and an electronic tuning circuit equivalent to four circuits.
A newly developed ladder-type ceramic filter is used in the AM tuner section.
