Commentary
FM/AM tuners with improved performance using new technologies such as the Advanced Active Reception Circuit.
Equipped with an advanced active reception circuit, the microprocessor instantly judges the input level, adjacent interference and reception quality, and controls the RF-selector, IF-band selector, Chinese arrowhead control, etc. to 18 levels.
When receiving weak radio waves at a long distance, a 3-stage IF band selector consisting of Wide/Normal/Narrow is usually used instead of a 2-stage IF band selector in order to receive more stations by eliminating interference from adjacent short-range stations.
GaAs (gallium arsenide) elements are used in the front-end section to improve the C/N (carrier signal / noise component) ratio in the pre-demodulation stage and to expand the dynamic range of the front-end.
It is equipped with the Direct Linear Reception Circuit (DLRC), Distortion Collecting Circuit (DCC) circuit (DCC), and Direct Linear Loop Detector (DLLD).
Equipped with a display that displays S. N. P.S. (Station Name Preset System) and 5-series 5-point signal meters.
It is equipped with 39 ch preset memories, 3 station program memories and pentacle circuits.
Kenwood pre-main amplifier, AV amplifier and system remote control operation are possible.
A 28-key full remote control is included.
