Commentary

AM/FM tuner developed by putting together the best of the tuner technology of Trio.

Two FETs are used for the high frequency stage of the FM front end and the mixer.
Since the RF gain is sufficient, it is highly sensitive, and the image ratio and cross-modulation can be greatly improved. In addition, the SN is also improved because the RF amplifying FET is selected to be low in noise.

A mechanical filter is used in the IF circuit to improve the interference ratio and selectivity.

In order to receive FM broadcasting accurately, a two meter tuning system is adopted.
One is a signal meter that shows the strength of the radio wave, and the other is a center tuning meter that correctly tunes to the center of the discriminator (frequency discriminator) and indicates the point of minimum distortion.

Equipped with level volume, output level can be adjusted.

It is equipped with functions such as FM muting to remove inter-station noise and FM stereo noise filter.
