Commentary
FM/AM tuner with phase linear 4-element filter.
The high-frequency stage uses a junction FET with low noise and good linearity, a 3-FM3 frequency linear variable capacitor, and an integrated molded coil sealed with resin to obtain excellent reception characteristics.
The IF stage employs a phase linear 4-element filter, high-density IC, wide-band quadrature detection, etc. to obtain excellent phase characteristics and stability.
The MPX section uses a PLL circuit that is stable and resistant to changes over time.
By adopting a large 60 φ flywheel and making the minimum necessary pulley and dial wire as short as possible, accurate tuning without backlash is possible.
In addition, a 200 mm long dial scale is adopted.
Equipped with auto FM muting, radio waves with an excellent SN ratio above the muting level are received in stereo, and weak radio waves are received in monaural Hi-Fi.
Equipped with FM stereo indicator.
