Commentary

AM stereo compatible FM/AM tuner equipped with active reception circuit.

It is equipped with an active reception circuit to respond to all radio wave conditions.
When the receiving frequency is changed such as tuning up / down or calling up a preset while the active reception key is held down, the microcomputer judges the input sensitivity and radio wave condition such as adjacent interference, and automatically switches the IF band, RF attenuator and antenna A/B to maintain optimum reception quality.

The IF band can be switched to two levels. The optimum reception can be achieved by switching the IF band to the WIDE position when receiving normally, or to the Narrow position when hearing is difficult due to interference from a distant station or an adjacent station.

Equipped with an RF attenuator, turning the switch ON reduces RF modulation distortion and cross-modulation distortion that occur when a strong broadcast station is adjacent to the desired station.

Antenna A/B switching is adopted, and switching can be performed according to antenna direction and conditions.

Equipped with a 5-point signal meter.

Random access 40 preset memories are installed.
