Commentary

FM/AM tuner with more stable reception and higher sound quality using Kenwood's proprietary technology.

A direct linear reception circuit has been adopted to solve the low frequency problem of the synthesizer tuner.
This enables stable reception of low-frequency broadcasts and high-quality reception.

A newly developed DPD (Direct Pure Decoder) MPX has been adopted. Unlike conventional square wave switching, the detection output is multiplied by a pure sine wave with no components other than 38 kHz. Therefore, a low-pass filter such as a clean reception filter is not required, interference that is difficult to listen to is eliminated, and clear stereo demodulation is possible.

The IF stage consists of DLLD (Direct Linear Loop Detector) and DCC (Distortion Collecting Circuit) completed by KT-1010.
As a result, a low distortion factor is obtained while maintaining high selectivity even at a wide position.

It is equipped with a modulation level meter that displays real-time changes in modulation level during performance.
The peak hold function allows you to see the level at a glance. The steady level can be adjusted with the REC calibrator, and then fine adjustments can be made with the modulation level meter to prevent air check errors.

It uses an AM band variable circuit to freely control the frequency characteristics and transform AM into a Hi-Fi source with excellent sound quality.

Equipped with a 2-station program function convenient for recording messages and an auto Chinese arrowhead control strong for long-distance stereo reception.

There was a silver model in addition to the black model.
