A refined FM/AM stereo tuner incorporating technologies such as a direct linear reception circuit.

The KT 1010 II adopts the direct linear reception circuit developed in the KT 3030, and by making the frequency vs. tuning voltage characteristics of the local oscillator circuit linear over all frequencies, it succeeded in obtaining high SN even at a low frequency of 76 MHz.

DLLD (Direct Linear Loop Detector) is adopted.
In this method, the 10.7 MHz IF signal is directly linearized and detected by a closed-loop detector. In addition, a distortion correction circuit is provided in the closed-loop to cancel the nonlinear distortion of the VCO.
In the KT 1010 II, a newly developed IF distortion correction circuit is also installed to reduce the harmonic distortion generated by the IF filter and to reduce distortion while maintaining high selectivity.
In addition, the DLLD cancels out the harmonic distortion generated by the IF filter, so no distortion is mixed into the sub signal and clear sound quality is obtained.

We have adopted a two power supply system that uses dedicated power transformers for each of the two systems : 6.97 VA for the audio system and the loop filter system, 7.2 VA for the logic system such as PLL and display system, to eliminate mutual interference via the power supply.
In addition, by arranging the pattern design for signal lines and power lines, interference between each block is suppressed and high-quality sound is obtained.

A dual-gate MOS FET is used in the RF-amplifier and MIX section to improve the intermodulation characteristic, which is the symbol of the Dainyu power characteristic. This eliminates intermodulation interference and SN ratio degradation in the FM band even when TV radio waves as well as FM band radio waves enter simultaneously.

Two stage switching of the IF band is installed to enable optimum listening according to all reception conditions.
The Wide position brings out the sound quality of FM, while the Narrow position allows the high power station to clearly catch the low power station with its excellent interference rejection capability.

A total of 16 preset memories (8 FM stations and 8 AM stations) are available. You can call up your favorite station with one touch.

The AM section uses an AM band variable circuit to control the frequency characteristics, thereby supporting pre-emphasis.
