Commentary

An FM/AM tuner equipped with an AM tuner section in addition to the same FM tuner section as the FX-46 model.

The use of printed circuit boards ensures stable quality and long life.

A 3-row varicon is used for the front end section, and the intermediate frequency circuit is also a double limiter (two stage noise elimination circuit) for higher sensitivity.

Noise is suppressed by an FM multi-stereo noise filter.

Equipped with an automatic switching circuit between FM mono and stereo, which is automatically switched by electronic circuit

The AM tuner section consists of a bar antenna and high-frequency amplification using a 3-row varicon.
In addition, noise is reduced by the adoption of AVC (automatic radio wave adjustment circuit), countermeasure for modulation hum (tuning hum), use of well-studied coil, etc.
