Commentary

FM/AM Synthesizer Tuner of Supreme Series.

The 700T uses a synthesizer method, and when the dial is turned, the frequency changes stepwise at every 100 kHz.
As a result, the receiving point is always a positive tuning point, and there is no need for a tuning meter or drift.

Equipped with FM station indicator.
If the LED in the center of the positive tuning indicator lights up, this indicator indicates that the tuning is performed at the correct frequency. If the tuning is not performed properly and the frequency shifts by 100 kHz to an adjacent frequency, the left and right red LEDs light up.

The IF stage is designed by combining high-gain and high-performance elements. It consists of ceramic filters with excellent stability and selectivity, transistors with excellent signal-to-noise ratio and amplification, LC selection circuits with excellent bandwidth characteristics, ICs with excellent limiter and high-input characteristics, etc.

It is equipped with PNBS (Pulse Noise Blanker System) and suppresses harsh noise by suppressing pulse noise such as ignition noise.
In this circuit, in order to prevent the audio waveform from being corrupted by FM/AM detection, the pulse-like noise that cannot be eliminated by the limiter is suppressed instantaneously.

The MPX section is equipped with a combination of the D. S. D. C. method, which is TRIO's original FM technology, and a full-scale PLL circuit. Crosstalk is canceled by performing accurate switching.
In addition, by using a silicon diode and improving precision thoroughly by means such as square wave demodulation, we have obtained excellent characteristics in a wide band.

Equipped with a large linear scale meter.
It is a large meter that is proportional to the electric field strength. If you call it attached data, you can read the actual radio wave strength. You can also know the SN ratio and distortion as a tuner.

Equipped with a DIMMER switch, dial illumination can be switched.

For the dial indicator, the tuning cable is made of copper wire so that it is energized as it is.
AM/FM switching is indicated by the switching of the lamp.

It has a headphone port, so you can listen directly from the tuner with headphones.

It has an output volume and can control the output level.

Equipped with a multipath switch, you can check multipath with the signal meter.

75 Ω coaxial M-type connector is mounted.
