Commentary
Mini component with slim body.
The ES-3MD consists of the main unit RD-ES3MD and main speakers LS-ES3 (LS-ES3-S/LS-ES3-N).
Body Part
An original block capacitor is used for the power supply to improve the sound quality.
It uses a liquid crystal display that allows users to check the operation status and the music being played at a glance.
The side illumination creates a more stylish atmosphere.
Slot-in mechanism is adopted.
4x-speed recording from CD to MD is possible.
It also supports a variety of recording modes, such as O. T. E. (one touch edit) recording, which enables easy recording of one or all songs on a CD, and program recording.
* Once you do 4 x speed dubbing from CD to MD, the same CD cannot be dubbed at 4 x speed for approximately 74 minutes from the time you start recording.
It is compatible with MDLP, and it can record for a long time with 1 MD.
It also supports a group management function, allowing you to group multiple MD songs that have been recorded for a long time according to your favorite genre or artist name.
It has achieved a compact size of 115 mm width, allowing more freedom of installation.
Speaker part
An 8 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A newly developed hybrid edge has been adopted for the edge part, and by using original material which is a combination of cloth material and rubber material, the compact body achieves both powerful deep low sound reproduction and delicate middle and low range reproduction.
A 2.5 cm balanced dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
