Commentary

A 200 series speaker system developed to take advantage of the characteristics of solid-state amplifiers.

The 200 Series adopts a design method that adjusts the frequency characteristics of the mid - and high-frequency range to the low-frequency range, unlike the conventional sound decision that makes the middle and high-frequency range 2 to 5 dB higher than the average sound pressure.
As a result, natural and clear sound is realized in all bands.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
In addition, a 16 cm cone type squaker is mounted in the middle area.

Two specially designed horn type tweeters are installed in the high range.

Equipped with 4-step switching tone control on the back.
Clear emphasizes the high range slightly, Sweet attenuates the high range slightly, Soft attenuates the mid-high range slightly, and Normal provides the most ideal Hi-Fi sound.

The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
All parts of the cabinet are sealed with putty to prevent air leakage, and the squaker part is contained in an independent airtight box to prevent interference with the woofer unit.
Each unit is fixed from the outside of the front baffle plate with screws and bonded with rubber resin.
A new nylon sound-absorbing material is used inside. This sound-absorbing material is 50 mm thick, making the speaker work in a more natural state and reducing distortion.
High-density rigid homogen material developed by Trio and used for high-grade stereos etc. is adopted for the plate material, and box rumbling is suppressed compared to the conventional one.
The front grill is removable.

The SR Series cabinets can be used in combination to create a stereo set of designs, finishes, and materials.
