LS-770A
Commentary

A small speaker system honoring various technologies unique to the LS series.

A 22 cm cone type woofer with double voice coil technology is used for the low range.
The Double Voice Coil is a system in which a two stage voice coil is mounted on a long voice coil bobbin and driven strongly by two magnets. With this double voice coil system, a 37 mm voice coil to extract energy from the magnet equivalent to that of a 75 mm large diameter voice coil, thereby extending the playback limit in the low frequency range.
In addition, the two stage magnets of the double voice coil are magnetized with opposite polarity, and the two stage voice coil is connected so that the direction of the signal current is reversed. Therefore, the electromagnetic brake is applied, and playback can be performed without breakdown even when driven at high power.
In addition, new HR carbon vibration plate and class A suspension are adopted.

A 7.5 cm semi-dome type skoker is adopted for the middle area, and anti-magnetic effect is obtained by demagnetizing magnet.

A 2.5 cm hard dome type tweeter with ion-plated titanium vibrating plate is adopted for the high frequency band.
The newly developed push-pull tangential edge pull tangential edge has been adopted for the edge to improve the linearity by improving the weak point of the tangential edge (weak restoring force against PULL direction) which has good linearity with small signal.

It is equipped with acoustic level control.
