Commentary

This is a speaker system that has been polished using a dynamic distortion measurement method in order to clarify the fundamental "motion" and "static" of the speaker and to eliminate the colorization of sound.

A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
For the cone paper, thermal shock twisted cone with higher rigidity than conventional cone paper is adopted. In addition, rib is stretched to suppress the division vibration.
In addition, the baffle is firmly fixed to the center of the baffle by the tapered nut fixing method adopted in the LS 800, and harmful vibrations are suppressed to obtain more accurate piston motion.

The mid-range is equipped with a 10 cm cone type squaker.
The diaphragm uses a special reinforced cone that combines North American UKP and Finnish UKP, and the edge uses a V-shape to suppress flexural vibration caused by large amplitude.
The voice coil is made of glass fiber-filled polyimide resin and is strong.

A 4-cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range.
For the diaphragm, a diaphragm made of 100% carbon fiber called CFCC (carbon fiber reinforced cone) with fast response was adopted, and the integral molding including the chamber part, which was considered impossible until now, was succeeded, and high-speed propagation characteristics were realized.

The enclosure has a linear suspension structure in which a bass reflex duct is placed on the backboard directly behind the woofer unit and air vibrations inside the enclosure are routed behind the speaker system.
In addition, in order to reduce box rumbling and harmful vibrations, a multi-panel backboard is adopted to cancel standing waves and increase the rigidity of the enclosure.
