Commentary

The speaker system of the LS series was completed by conducting a hearing test by more than 60 people such as musicians, critics, dealers, etc. in order to pursue the sound quality after thoroughly pursuing physical characteristics and satisfying it sufficiently.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The corn uses CF corn made of Canadian kraft pulp, which was selected through repeated analysis and listening of corn papers from all over the world. In addition, the corn paper uses a unique corrugation as well as a large compliance of the damper and edge to realize a low fo woofer.
In addition to preventing edge deformation by adopting an asymmetric S-order edge that combines the advantages of a roll type and a reverse roll type, a T-shaped cutting process is applied to the pole piece to measure uniformity of magnetic flux density.
In addition, a cloth chamber coated with a low Q damping material without breathability has been adopted to flatten the response characteristics and improve distortion.

A 12 cm compound type unit is mounted in the middle area.
A soft dome is directly connected to the voice coil, and a cone is used for the middle and low frequencies.

The high-frequency band is equipped with a soft dome type tweeter made of thermoformed silk.
A resin-molded equalizer is attached to the T-shaped pole piece. By making the same gap with the diaphragm, the air pressure on the back is kept constant and mechanical resonance and loss are eliminated.
In addition, a V-shaped edge integrally molded with the diaphragm at a high temperature of 140 ℃ is adopted to improve the rise characteristics of the low range of the tweeter.

The voice coil of each unit uses TLP paper, which is hard, lightweight, heat-resistant and moisture-resistant, to improve the transmission ability to the diaphragm.

Metallized film capacitors and silicon-steel core coils are used for the network.

The front baffle of the enclosure uses a Lambertian core bonded with a balk of pure beech wood to improve sound transmission.
The rear baffle is made of highly absorbent lamins, making it less susceptible to wall effects.

In addition to the attached white net grill, there was also a deep brown net grill sold separately.
