LS-1000
Commentary

A speaker system with greatly improved dynamic distortion by pursuing reaction stability that does not allow vibration other than the diaphragm and by examining all the components of the speaker.

A 28 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This woofer diaphragm is made of highly rigid ribbed cone paper with thermal shock treed cone ribs. Conventional cone paper absorbs split vibration by providing an appropriate amount of inner loss, but at the same time it has the problem of absorbing the expression of fine sound and reproducing sound that is normally not included in the signal. The LS-1000 diaphragm is made of stronger and less inner loss, thus achieving more faithful reproduction.
The unit is fixed using a Bio-net chuck method, which is similar to the lens mount of a single-lens reflex camera, in which a baffle plate is tightened and fixed. This method realizes low-frequency playback without being affected by a large low-frequency signal such as a continuous bass drum.

It uses a flat unit of 10 cm for the middle band and 3.6 cm for the high band.
By using a flat diaphragm composed of acrylic resin and carbon fiber for the diaphragm, the phase shift and frequency characteristic slack do not occur, and the rise and fall characteristics are also improved.
In addition, each unit uses a thick die-cast frame to reduce vibration around the diaphragm, thereby realizing sound with less distortion.

In order to eliminate mutual interference in the network section, coils are arranged remotely and the ground line is improved.
In addition, it is equipped with the sigma sensor terminal for the sigma drive amplifier announced by Trio at that time, and the speaker drive which draws out the ability of the sigma drive amplifier is possible.

The enclosure is a composite structure consisting of a double-walled particle board baffle and an aluminum die-cast woofer base. The vibrations generated by each substance at different frequencies cancel each other to prevent the box from ringing.
In addition, by providing a slit between each unit, mutual interference between units is reduced.

The unit layout is designed with a woofer placed in the center. This reduces harmful vertical vibration. The standing wave on the backboard, which cannot be controlled by the woofer placed in the center, is cancelled by the pyramidal backboard. This polyhedron backboard also increases the rigidity of the cabinet and provides clearer sound without being affected by box rumbling or harmful motion.
In addition, the bass reflex duct is installed on the backboard directly behind the woofer unit with a linear suspension structure that allows the sound from the duct to escape to the back, preventing the sound generated from the diaphragm from becoming muddy.
