TRIO LS-10
¥ 27,000 (1 unit, released in 1981)
Commentary
A bookshelf speaker system developed by inheriting the LS-1000 and LS-100 technologies.
A 18 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
Similar to the LS-1000 and LS-100, the vibration plate has ribs made of cone paper to increase the strength and reduce loss in the cone.
A 4-cm flat tweeter is installed in the high range.
By adopting a flat diaphragm made of acrylic resin, inner loss is reduced and regenerative capacity is increased.
The enclosure uses a bass-reflex structure.
In addition to the adoption of aluminum die-cast for the woofer base, the slit between the tweeter and woofer reduces the vibration of the woofer from propagating through the baffle plate and interfering with the tweeter. In addition, harmful vibration is reduced by placing the woofer in the middle of the baffle plate.
