Commentary
A 3-way speaker system developed with the aim of creating a trio original tone.
Roll free edge type 30 cm cone type woofer is used for the low range.
In the yoke part of the magnetic circuit, a small hole with an appropriate air dump is made, and the air contained in the air chamber created by the magnetic circuit part and the chamber is circulated to prevent the occurrence of distortion in the low range.
It uses a 16 cm cone type squaker that reduces interference between units by mounting a back cavity in the middle area.
Distortion is eliminated from the crossover point by lowering the fo of the squaker to a point lower than the crossover point, increasing the compliance of the damper, increasing the sound absorbing material in the cavity, and increasing the magnet.
A horn type tweeter of 6.5 cm is used for the high range.
It is a spherical conical horn made of aluminum die-cast, and the 30 ° directional characteristic is kept the same as the 0 ° characteristic.
In addition, ultra-hard duralumin is used for the diaphragm to suppress unnecessary split vibration in the ultra-high frequency range.
A sliding attenuator is mounted on the front of the enclosure.
The enclosure is a bass-reflex type.
In order to suppress the boomy low sound inherent in the bass reflex type, a damping type bass reflex duct is adopted to realize a tight low sound reproduction.
In addition, the material has been reconsidered from the hearing test. Lauan plywood is used for the baffle surface, and homogen material is used for other parts to prevent resonance completely and to reproduce bright and low sound.
