Commentary

A double-sided automatic reproduction compatible LD player equipped with Kenwood's original mechanism pickup.
There were black model and gold model with side wood.

Equipped with a three image D/A converter that separates the luminance signal, color signal and composite signal.

It features a 4fsc8-bit digital timebase collector for excellent horizontal resolution.
This circuit converts video FM signals into 8-bit digital data, stores it in memory, and uses a crystal oscillator to correct time management and output the pixels accurately.
The digital TBC eliminates jitter caused by disc warpage, deflection, and eccentricity by dividing the memory control speed by four times that of the sync signal to obtain the horizontal resolution according to the specifications.
In addition, in order to arrange sample points in a square lattice without making beat interference conspicuous, by using 4 fsc (approximately 14.3 MHz) locked to the color signal multiburst, an extremely high purity multiburst is obtained, and excellent color reproducibility is obtained.

In order to prevent degradation of the S / N ratio during demodulation, a four balanced multiple FM detector is used.

At the newly installed S terminal, the digital data signal is separated into a luminance signal and a color signal. Immediately before the Y/C output, the signal is converted into an analog signal by a dedicated D/A converter.
This reduces the occurrence of cross-color, such as fine stripes, to a low level, and eliminates dot interference, which occurs at color boundaries, and vertical color blur.

The audio circuit D/A converter uses a PDM conversion left / right independent bit stream 1-bit D/A converter. Peripheral circuits such as 8 fsc digital filters, noise shapers, and switched capacitors are also examined to achieve high-quality sound.

Equipped with JOG & SHUTTLE remote control which can operate CD direct function, introscan, delete random play, CD/LD edit function, frame number / time conversion function, improved FF/REW function lock key, M-SHOT function, etc.
