Commentary
The first CD player announced by KENWOOD.
The pickup unit uses a collimating lens that converts the laser beam emitted from a semiconductor laser into a parallel beam, and a high-precision lens with less aberration as an objective lens that converges the laser beam and focuses it on the signal surface of the disk, thereby increasing the detection capability of digital signals.
In addition, a multi-reflection critical-angle detection method is adopted for focus error detection, and a time-difference detection method with a four division detector is adopted for tracking error detection to obtain an accurate servocontrol signal. Using this, the laser configuration is controlled by a high-precision focus / tracking adjustment mechanism of a two dimensional drive actuator system with excellent response characteristics.
Computer control is used to control mechanisms such as the rotary servo system and the pickup feed mechanism.
In addition, the slide mechanism of the semiconductor laser pickup uses a cross-roller for precise movement, light movement, and high stability, while the disk motor uses a coreless DC motor.
A 16-bit D/A converter is used for the D/A conversion section. This D/A converter uses an integral method for high-speed conversion to improve the conversion linearity.
The 11th-order active low-pass filter is used to cut off the high-frequency component from the output signal of the D/A converter.
It is equipped with Σ drive, an audio technology unique to TRIO.
This prevents a large loop from being formed between the L-03DP and the amplifier connected to it by the power cord on the primary side of the power transformer and by AC coupling on the secondary side, thereby reducing mutual interference.
The multi-functional DPSS (Direct Program Search System) performs operations such as song indexing.
This allows random access, program memory of up to 8 songs, one touch song selection, repeat operation, FF/BWD operation, etc.
It is equipped with a large concentrated display that can confirm the operation status at a glance.
It has a built-in CHIRP-ON generator so that you can check the key operation status not only by touch but also by audibility. When you press the operation key, an electronic beep sounds.
The CHIRP sound can be stopped by switching the switch on the rear panel.
