Commentary

A stereo cassette deck equipped with an original constant current drive system Super TLLE.

A head base stabilizer is used to fix the rotating head, an erasing head seesaw operation structure is used to stabilize the tape path, and a low torque ripple filter is used to reduce torque fluctuations, thereby achieving stable driving.

The head is equipped with a unique head base stabilizer to prevent modulation noise caused by rattling and delicate vibration.
This head base stabilizer secures the head to the appropriate azimuth point by means of a groove cut into the head mount and a stainless steel spring. At the same time, this head base stabilizer is firmly secured so that it is not affected by the vibration in the front-back direction or the vibration in the up-down direction caused by the tape running.

A unique seesaw structure erasing head selection mechanism is adopted in the travel system around the head.
As a result, only the FWD erase head contacts the tape during FWD driving, and only the REV erase head contacts the tape during REV driving. In addition, subtle differences in tape travel positions between FWD and REV are adjusted by the tape guide attached to the erase head for each direction. Thus, smooth driving is achieved.
In this method, the erase head does not enter between the recording / reproducing head, which requires stable travel, and the capstan and pinch roller, which drive the tape at a constant speed. Therefore, tape path performance equivalent to that of one way tape is obtained.

In order to prevent the fluctuation of motor torque from causing unstable tape running and deterioration of the wow flutter, computer analysis was carried out to use a low torque ripple motor that reduces the fluctuation of torque to less than 1/2 that of conventional motors.

The Super TLLE, a unique constant-current drive circuit developed from the conventional TLLE, is adopted.
The head drive amplifier has been strengthened to reduce head current distortion in the high-frequency range and to further expand the dynamic range.

New amorphous head with oxygen-free copper is used for the head.

Equipped with a level meter that displays up to -36dB.

Equipped with New DPSS capable of easy operation for both FWD and REW running.

In addition to the black model, there was also a silver model.
