Commentary

Stereo cassette deck equipped with high rigidity silent mechanism based on non-resonance concept.

It uses a high-rigidity silent mechanism that analyzes all vibration modes of the orbit from various angles and is less affected by vibration. It was developed in pursuit of the original travel system of the cassette deck.
First of all, the mechanism body has been completely simplified by eliminating unnecessary frames, and the guide for fixing the cassette has been changed from the conventional plastic mold to a metal shaft, and the cassette is firmly fixed to the mechanism chassis.
This mechanical structure suppresses disturbance and realizes stable head touch of the tape.

Focusing on the fact that phase displacement in the ultra-low frequency range has a significant effect on sound images in the audible frequency range, we have completed a computer-based three dimensional analysis method and are refining sound.
The measurement method is to input a sine wave signal of 6.3 kHz into the left and right channels, play back a tape recorded on a cassette deck, analyze it by a computer, and display it on a three dimensional graph. Utilizing the various know-how obtained from this measurement method, sharp sound image and clear sound image localization are obtained.

The head uses an amorphous head.
The head core consists of 13 laminated layers of 45 μ ultra-thin sheets of amorphous alloy, which has high permeability and high magnetic flux density with a small magnetic field, enabling high-efficiency and high-sound recording.
In this way, the over-current is small, and the wide frequency characteristic with the extended high range is realized.

Equipped with a Dolby C type with excellent MOL characteristics for recording and playback using a dedicated IC.

Equipped with the NewD. P.S. S. which can be operated such as front-and-back 1 song cue, desired song cue, 1 song repeat, one side full repeat, dash and play, Re-rec standby, rewind play, index scan, blank search, auto-rec mute, etc.
The 4-digit linear counter is a multi-function display that automatically switches as a D. P.S. S. indicator and a residual quantity indicator.

With the Wired Remote Control RC-7 (sold separately), you can remotely control all D. P.S. operations except for blank search and index scan.
