Commentary
Metal tape-compatible 3-head stereo cassette deck.
It uses a combination 3-head system in which the recording and reproducing heads are separated and put into one case. The gap length suitable for each recording head and reproducing head can be obtained, and saturation level and dynamic range are improved.
In addition, the combination head can use the center window of the cassette half for both recording and playback, realizing excellent head touch.
It is equipped with an easy-to-use tape selector that can change the bias, playback equalizer, recording equalizer and recording sensitivity with a single switch.
In addition, it is equipped with a tape-free fine-bias-to-tooth mechanism, and is also compatible with metal tapes that emphasize sound quality.
It uses the operation button of the newly developed mechanical logic control using the rotational force of the flywheel of the motor, and the switch can be pushed with a light touch.
In addition, LED indicators are attached to the Record button and Pause button to prevent operation errors.
Dolby noise reduction system is used to reduce tape noise.
In addition, it has 3 levels of Dolby NR and 2 levels of MPX filter. When recording FM, it is used with Dolby NR ON and MPX filter ON position. When recording records, it is used with Dolby NR ON and MPX filter OFF position.
The power supply circuit uses a full-scale stabilized power supply.
This improves the stability compared with the conventional ripple filter.
As long as you hold down the Rec Mute switch, you can record silence without limiting the recording volume.
You can cut off commercials and announcements during an FM air check to create an appropriate no-signal area between songs.
Equipped with a timer standby mechanism. By connecting a timer, you can start and stop the tape at your favorite time. You can also record FM absence, play an alarm, or play a sleep.
The line input circuit and microphone input circuit are independent, and the line input is directly sent to the recording amplifier without going through the microphone amplifier.
This increases the dynamic range of line-input recording and improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
When the microphone is set to the ATT position, the microphone input is attenuated by -12dB, making it possible to record sound with less distortion even when using a high-sensitivity microphone.
