Stereo cassette deck equipped with high rigidity silent mechanism and microcomputer controlled automatic tuning device New D. P.S. S.
In order to ensure stable tape travel, a dedicated electronically controlled DC motor is used to drive the capstan. A large 47 mm diameter flywheel provides a stable capstan drive.
In addition, a dedicated DC motor is used to drive the reel so that unwanted vibration during reel drive is not transmitted to the capstan.
Equipped with New D. P.S. S. which can easily perform complicated tape operations.
With this system, you can play up to 16 tracks in front and back, repeat one track, one side full repeat, one shot rerecording, rewind play, index scan, blank search, auto-rec mute, etc.
In addition to the D. P.S. counter function that displays the number of songs when the D. P.S. S. operation is activated, it is equipped with a 4-digit digital counter with a linear tape counter function that can be read directly in real time.
For time detection, the number of revolutions of the reel is detected by a photo reflector, and is calculated and processed by a microcomputer (C-60 standard).
The head uses an amorphous recording and re-head.
With an ultrathin laminated structure, low overcurrent loss and high intrinsic electrical resistance, the structure has excellent frequency characteristics especially in the high-frequency range.
