Commentary
Stereo cassette deck equipped with high rigidity mechanism and NewDPSS.
It uses a 2-motor + 1-motor mechanism that inherits the know-how of KX-880SR.
The head section is equipped with a rotary head type Oatley berth mechanism.
The rotary head system is capable of adjusting FWD driving and REV driving independently so that sound can be recorded and played back with good head touch and no difference in sound quality.
An instantaneous inversion using a photo sensor is adopted for the inversion from FWD running to REV.
It is equipped with NewDPSS, a unique automatic tuning device. You can play up to 16 songs in front and back, repeat one song, single-sided full repeat, double-sided full repeat, one shot rerecording, rewind play, index scan, blank search, auto-rec mute, etc.
Equipped with Dolby C type with improved MOL characteristics by adopting a dedicated IC.
A dual preamplifier IC is used in the reproduction amplifier section to achieve high SN and low distortion factor.
Equipped with an auto tape selector with LED display.
The power supply section uses an IC 3-terminal regulator and the mechanical drive power supply uses a dedicated regulator, providing a stable low-impedance drive power supply.
Equipped with 15-point peak level meters for each left and right.
