Commentary
Stereo cassette deck with full recording function.
Equipped with an electric volume CCRS function so that CD recording can be performed without failure.
For CD recording, connect to a CD player or LD player with the Kenwood XS mark and press the CCRS key. The CD player automatically detects the point of large signal recording, and the deck adjusts the recording level to the optimum value with the electric volume in accordance with it.
The LED or FL blinks during operation to indicate that the function is in progress. In addition, since the electric recording volume can be operated with a remote control, the recording level can be adjusted from a distance.
To eliminate unnecessary vibration near the cassette window, a tape bus スタイビ riser is installed to reduce vibration.
It is equipped with an auto-bias that records two types of signal levels of 400 Hz and 10 kHz in 16 steps and detects the proper bias according to each output level. It is also equipped with a bias preset memory so that it is not necessary to set auto-bias again when recording on the same tape or using the same type of tape.
Preset memories are recorded in METAL/CrO2/NORMAL respectively.
Equipped with a 17-point wide range level meter that can read up to + 12 dB.
It is equipped with a fader function that narrows down the preset recording level at a constant speed and returns it at a constant speed.
During operation, the LED of the volume flashes to indicate that it is functioning as in CCRS.
It is equipped with Repeat A-B playback, which uses counter information to repeat between two favorite points (requires more than 18 seconds between songs).
Equipped with a quick reverse function that reverses in approximately 0.8 seconds when a leader tape is detected at the tape end.
Equipped with Dolby HX-PRO and MPX filter.
In the power supply section, the power windings of the mechanism system, signal system, and display system are separated to prevent mutual interference.
Equipped with timer play & rec function.
Equipped with a sync function that enables basic operation with a system remote controller such as an AV amplifier with the XS mark.
It comes with an 18-key remote control that allows most operations such as setting Dolby NR, auto bias / bias preset, repeat A-B playback, etc.
