Commentary
This is an analog player that uses Kenwood's original technology and aims at the expression of silence that was difficult for analog players to express.
It is equipped with a high-rigidity mechanical short circuit that clarifies the fulcrum of the motor and arm. The motor and arm are made rigid with the frame to form a reproduction circuit that picks up sound.
In addition, the transformer, which generates vibration, the cabinet, which is susceptible to vibration, and the dust cover are made of a unified aluminum die-cast frame that floats completely from the regenerative circuit.
As a result, the motor support point and the arm support point can be clearly defined, vibration caused by the sound pressure of the speaker and vibration from the floor are completely eliminated, and the muddy sound is greatly improved.
With Kenwood's unique DS (dynamic stability) tone arm, it has a unique knife edge that firmly fixes the fulcrum.
As a result, even if the needle tip traces any large signal groove, the supporting point of the tone arm is not pulled in the direction of rotation so that it can trace the sound groove.
Uses a DL (Dynamic Center Lock) motor to lock the spindle to the absolute center point of rotation.
With a special oil slit cut in the outer diameter surface of the spindle, it is fixed on the spindle rotation axis by force using the pressure of the fluid, and the absolute center point of rotation is maintained.
As a result, excellent wow flutter is obtained, and since there is no worn part, deterioration does not occur even after long-term use.
A 2-phase sinusoidal wave method is adopted for the drive circuit.
In addition, we have developed a twin current square servo circuit with three closed loops to control the effective value of the current flowing in the motor, thereby reducing the wow flutter in the ultra-low range and preventing torque fluctuations.
An elastic body with special vibration damping characteristics is used to float the cabinet so that the vibration of the cabinet is not transmitted to the frame. In addition, vibration from the floor is eliminated by the three stage stacked type large insulator of vibration rubber.
Cartridge is not included.
