Commentary
Compact CD player.
A 3-beam high-precision low-noise optical pickup is used in the pickup section.
The DP 770 uses a self-pulse-modulated oscillation laser to reduce operating noise caused by mode-competition noise and to prevent it from being introduced into the audio circuit. In addition, the optical system uses an objective lens with a wave aberration of λ / 40 (λ ≒ 0.78 μ m) to improve precision and efficiency.
The laser drive circuit is integrated with the pickup to achieve high rigidity. In particular, the signal reader is floating with an insulator to block external vibration.
The D/A for D/A conversion part.
The trick circuit uses the count-type kick algorithm that is also used in the DP 2000 and DP-1000. This circuit realizes high-speed search and is resistant to changes over time.
High-performance LSIs are used in the servo system, digital processing section and D/A converter circuit to reduce the number of parts and improve reliability.
The power supply for the muting circuit is separated from the D/A converter block and other power supplies, and noise level during stop and direct search is improved by more than 10 dB.
A unique special transformer is used in the power supply section to achieve both sound quality and slimming.
It uses a soft touch loading mechanism and loads by simply pressing the tray lightly when the tray is opened.
It is equipped with functions such as direct search and direct memory play by 10 keys, 16-track random memory, and music selection and cue by up / down keys.
It is equipped with a concentrated display by large FL tube.
