Commentary
CD player with high-rigidity mechanism.
A 16-bit integrating D/A converter is used for the D/A converter.
In addition, a constant current circuit for high-precision integration has been developed and a total harmonic distortion factor of 0.0015% has been achieved by supplying a stable current to the integration circuit of the D/A converter.
The D/A converter section, which has a significant effect on sound quality, uses specially selected parts.
The DP-1000 uses high-precision parts such as a 9th Chebyshev active low-pass filter, magnetic relay muting, metal coating resistance with less than 1% error, and copper styrene condenser.
In addition, the D/A converter section uses a multi-earth system to reduce common impedance and improve sound quality.
A low-impedance output circuit of 330 Ω or less is adopted to prevent changes in frequency characteristics and increase in distortion.
In addition, relay muting is used in the DP-1000 because the linearity is poor in transistor muting when low impedance output is used.
The power supply section uses a 1-transformer 3-winding 10-power supply configuration to eliminate mutual interference between circuits.
Special consideration is given to the power supply of the D/A converter block, which is supported by four 3-terminal regulators and three Zener shunt regulators.
A newly developed compact 3-beam astigmatism type semiconductor laser pickup is used in the pickup section.
The DP-1000 realizes high rigidity by integrating the laser drive circuit with the pickup, and the signal reader is floating with an insulator to shut out external vibration.
It is equipped with functions such as manual search, jump selection, random play of up to 16 songs, memory repeat of a specific section, reservation of the next song with reserve key, space creation for about 4 seconds with space key, auto pause, and memory repeat of all songs.
Wireless remote control is included.
