Commentary
A pre-main amplifier developed for high-end home appliances and for performances at coffee shops and companies.
W-46K was also sold as a kit model of W-46.
While using a 7189A high gm tube, the output is conservative with sufficient consideration for the problem of heat loss due to continuous use for a long time.
The recording terminal of the tape recorder is installed on the operation panel.
It also contains additional circuitry such as a direct playback terminal from the Tape Head (NAR TB equalizer), DIN standard recording / reterminal connector, tape monitor switch and terminal attachment, and tape monitor mechanism.
By using printed wiring for the equalizer amplifier section, noise induction hum and other troubles caused by contact between parts and movement of parts are eliminated.
Mono signal can be output.
It includes a stereo headphone jack, a tone control knob that adjusts the left and right channels independently, and a separate screw jack for body grounding for a record player.
The W-46K is an easy-to-assemble pre-main amplifier kit with adjustment points 0. Since the equalizer amplifier section is fully DC ignited and fully printed, there is no inductive hum caused by delicate factors such as misalignment of parts or bending of wiring.
