Commentary
A multi-AV center that supports Dolby Digital.
A 24-bit operation DSP chip is used for the decoder.
This DSP chip performs high-precision internal arithmetic operations of 24 bits or more with an arithmetic operation capacity of 4.4 million operations per second. This DSP chip can maintain sufficient precision in decoding Dolby Digital, where all the processing is done digitally, so that you can enjoy realistic surround sound.
In addition, the DSP chip consumes relatively little power, generates no noise, and reduces the influence on analog circuits to obtain high sound quality.
In addition, a 20-bit precision A/D&D/A converter is used for analog-to-digital conversion processing.
The 5-channel amplifier uses the TRAITR (Thermally Reactive Advanced Instantaneous Transistor) originally developed by Kenwood.
In TRAITR, the temperature detection and correction circuit, which was previously installed externally, is incorporated into the power transistor, making it the first in the world to be integrated into a single chip. Temperature correction, which took several minutes in the past, can be performed almost instantly.
As a result, excellent dynamic characteristics are realized, and the operating point dynamically follows the strength of the music signal.
All 5 channels are designed to be the same, and all channels are equal, enhancing the realistic sensation of dialogue, sound effects, BGM, etc.
OSD (On-Screen Display) for on-screen setup.
Surround Setup, in particular, is a step-by-step setup that allows you to monitor the speaker settings, volume level, and audio input level of the connected device.
In addition, if you set up a remote control macro, you can register automatic operations for multiple devices, such as "Turn on TV → Set TV input → Convert real input to DVD → Turn DVD player power ON".
