Commentary

A pre-main amplifier of the K's series that uses TRAITR.

A newly developed TRAITR (Thermally Reactive Advanced Instantaneous Transistor) is used for the final transistor.
Normally, in order to stabilize the operating point, the temperature is controlled by a temperature detection / correction circuit attached to the power transistor. However, if the temperature is controlled by an external circuit, it takes time to transfer the heat of the power transistor and the operating point fluctuates.
In TRAITR, temperature detection and correction circuits are incorporated into power transistors and integrated into a single chip, ensuring excellent moral development.

A newly developed ring core toroidal transformer is used for the power supply section. The elliptical structure with no corners reduces leakage of magnetic flux and prevents adverse effects on peripheral circuits.
In addition, since the windings can be wound in close contact, the conversion efficiency of electric power is high, and the wide dynamic range sound characteristic of toroidal transformer is realized.

In order to realize a clean ground line, electrostatic coupling prevention structure is adopted.

Low impedance drive capability has been improved.

Relays are used in all input selector systems to prevent excessive routing.

Uses a gold plated pin jack.
