Commentary
An AV amplifier that uses a Dolby pro-logic decoder and 5-channel amplifier configuration.
Equipped with a Dolby Pro Logic Surround Decoder.
This decoder uses a directional enhancement circuit and realizes 4-channel L/C/R/S playback. In the conventional 3-channel L/R/S playback, the sound image at the center is a composite of Lch and Rch. By playing back the dialogue component from the center speaker, it is possible to perform stereoscopic playback in which the sound image moves in accordance with the movement of the cast.
Four surround circuits are built in.
Dolby Pro Logic Surround is compatible with Dolby Encoded Software, Theater is effective for stereo recording software, Stadium is ideal for sports and live, and Simulated creates surround sound by creating pseudo rear component from monaural source.
Auto Input Balance is used to automatically adjust the input balance.
This circuit is a kind of sample-and-hold circuit. It samples the input signal when the center component is dominant, checks how much it deviates from the reference value, and corrects it. If the dominant tone is directed to a channel other than the center channel, it is designed to switch to hold mode.
By installing this circuit, you can enjoy Dolby Pro Logic Surround without worrying about the balance of audio signal for each software.
Equipped with center mode control function, 3 patterns can be set corresponding to the variation of the front center channel.
The normal mode is a mode in which the center is assumed to be used with a small speaker. The signal component of 100 Hz or less is cut off is sent to the center, and the cut component of 100 Hz or less is distributed to the left and right channels of the front.
In the wide mode, the center channel is assumed to use speakers of the same grade as the left and right channels. The center output is sent directly to the center.
Finally, the phantom mode is a mode that assumes a situation where the center speaker is not used. The center output is equally distributed to the left and right front speakers.
Equipped with a digital delay circuit, it can be adjusted in 1.5 ms steps in the range of 0 to 30 ms (15 to 30 ms for Dolby Pro Logic Surround mode), allowing you to enjoy the most effective delay time.
Equipped with a test tone circuit, the balance of each channel can be adjusted.
You can set each channel to the same volume by displaying the on-screen function and the composite sound output from the noise sequencer.
A 4-amp configuration with 2 front channels and 2 rear channels is used.
During surround bypass, only the front stereo is played back.
Equipped with a source direct switch, the signal can be directly connected to the power amplifier at the shortest distance.
A total of nine input jacks, four audio channels and an AV Line 5, are installed.
Also, the S terminal is equipped with 2 inputs and 2 outputs.
It has a monaural output jack for the subwoofer and a pre-out jack for the center and rear.
Adapter input / output terminal is mounted, and external adapter can be added.
Motor drive type is used for volume.
Φ 60 new structure large insulator has been adopted.
Equipped with Kenwood serial terminal equipment and a serial terminal capable of remote control operation.
System remote control is included.
