A pre-main amplifier that uses Super DLD (Dynamic Linear Drive) circuit.

The Super DLD circuit is equipped with a newly developed supercharger and makes full use of the four power supply circuits of the DLD to form a powerful power supply section.
In the conventional DLD circuit, four left and right amplifiers and four power supplies are switched between a high-power amplifier and a dedicated power supply, and between a low-power amplifier and a dedicated power supply, respectively. This circuit has the effect of increasing the actual power supply capacity. When a low-power amplifier is operated, which has a dominant influence on sound quality, it has the effect of doubling the power supply capacity.
The Super DLD circuit further enhances this powerful power supply circuit and is designed to supply energy from a high-power dedicated power supply, which had been suspended during low-power amplifier operation until now, and from a low-power dedicated power supply, which had been suspended during high-power amplifier operation, by using a supercharger. Regardless of the output, the power supply is always a mixture of four power supplies. As a result, the Super DLD circuit realizes clearer and more voluminous sound.

The design concept of Σ Drive is unchanged, and the speaker cord is 2-wire type and uses Σ Drive TypeB in pursuit of usability.
By applying the NF loop to the speaker terminal of the amplifier, all parts which were outside the NF loop until now, such as impedance of pattern and wiring material, phase compensation coil, contact of relay and speaker selection switch, etc., are incorporated into the loop, and performance at the output terminal is improved.
In addition, since all GND lines are concentrated at one point on the speaker terminal, the increase of mutual interference due to the pattern of GND lines and wires is suppressed.

ICL High GmFET A differential input and IC-based equalizer amplifier is used.
One loop gain switching system is used for switching between MM and MC.

It is equipped with a multi tape dubbing function. If you press TapeA, simultaneous dubbing from TapeA to TapeB/TapeC is automatically possible. Similarly, if you press TapeB, simultaneous dubbing from TapeB to TapeA/TapeC is possible.

A flexible flat cable is used for wiring from the input pin jack to the input selector.
Since this cable has less inductance, capacitance and resistance components than conventional cables, it can reduce electromagnetic coupling between an output circuit for handling large signals and an input circuit for handling small levels, and realizes a low distortion factor.

In addition to the power ON indication function, the power indicator also has a protection operation indication function. When an error occurs in the amplifier, the power indicator flashes to indicate the error.

In addition to the black model, there was also a silver model.
